1970 GP 14 for sale, built in the Bell factory in Leicester, The key concern with these GP14 wooden boats is the mast head as it was prone to rot, the mast head has been redone on this boat and the boat is now equipped an aluminium mast and boom.
It is set up to race and has a spinnaker pole and spinnaker, a new full foresail and a smaller furling foresail and a mainsail.
The tiller has been upgraded to a fiberglass over wood tiller, still looks like wood but is much stronger.
This is a lovely stable boat to sail, ideal for a family, very seaworthy and with a big following.
It comes with a road trailer ( new wheels and tries) and launch trolley, with upper and lower covers.
It is garaged all the time in winter, but It does need a little bit of varnishing.
