Please be aware that many of the participants are inexperienced with basic boat handling skills and limited knowledge of the Racing Rules.Ideally there should be a courteous, relaxed and helpful environment on and off the water. Please be lenient and tolerant when claiming rights under the Racing Rules of Sailing. It is an opportunity for novices to sail with safety cover, gain confidence and experience of racing conditions. On water Coaching is permitted. We also hope experienced sailors will help out the less experienced especially before and after racing.
